I’ve produced for over 30 years, across advertising, entertainment and creative media: campaigns for Lexus, eBay, Häagen-Dazs and Ralph Lauren, feature documentaries, scripted films, festivals, immersive experiences and impact-driven marketing. My credits are on IMDb. To talk about a project, email me.

Creative Director, from 2017createca.org
Create CA

We took this brand from invisible to visible. Before our work, the issue of equitable arts education in California’s public schools was essentially hidden. The work built an audience and local advocates across the state, addressing policy changes from the school district to the state level.

Brand development, maintenance and expansion, communications strategy, social media, content creation including all graphic design and video, email and CMS management, marketing and PR. We also contributed to an organization-wide merger, including facilitation of a new communication strategy for the 50-year-old nonprofit.

Youth Art Exchange

Creative Director and Communications Strategist, 2025youthartexchange.org
Youth Art Exchange

We partnered with Youth Art Exchange (YAX) at a pivotal moment in its evolution, from a youth-focused arts nonprofit to a broader community-centered creative hub. As they approached their 25th anniversary, YAX needed a refreshed visual identity and a messaging strategy that could communicate both continuity and growth.

The work included a full visual brand refresh: flyer templates for events, a social media suite, a presentation deck and a cohesive style guide, all designed in Canva so the YAX team could adapt and reuse them. Alongside the visual design, we built a messaging platform for different audiences, including donors, families and housing advocates.

Carpinteria Arts Center

Creative Director and Communications Strategist, 2025Brand audit and strategic plan
Carpinteria Arts Center

The Carpinteria Arts Center does a great deal with a little: gallery exhibitions, classes, youth camps, concerts and free community programming, much of it volunteer-run. We audited how all of that was being communicated, looking at the website, social channels, newsletter and everyday outreach as one system. The deliverable was a strategic plan: where the message was landing, where it was getting lost, and a blueprint for bringing the Center’s communications in line with its goals.

California Association of Museums

Creative Director and Communications Strategist, 2025Brand audit and strategic plan
California Association of Museums

CAM speaks to an entire field: members across most of California’s counties, from historical societies and tribal museums to botanical gardens, science centers and aquariums. We reviewed the association’s website, social channels, member newsletter and outreach as one communications system, with attention to how one voice can serve an audience that varies so widely. The strategic plan mapped where the message was working, where it was thinning out, and how to bring each channel in line with the association’s goals.
